Three days off

SCRIPTURE: “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” –1 Corinthians 15:3-4. [source]

COMMENTARY: Yawn. The story logic is boring. A being that has power over death sacrifices very little when it dies and takes up its life again, especially if it gains additional powers the second time around. How is this different from saying “Jesus took a nap for your sins and woke up feeling mighty refreshed”? I’m sorry, Jesus, but if you really are all-powerful, then your death wasn’t a sacrifice; it was merely a setup for your magic trick. And yeah, overcoming death is a pretty damn good trick, but then you ruined it. By going to heaven. Where all good people go. When they are dead. So did you really overcome death, or was it all just an elaborate show? I have my opinion. But what do I know? I’m just another apostate.
