QUOTE: “I thought all was lost. And then my fingers touched that wet five-dollar bill. As I pulled it from the pocket, relief flooded over me. I offered a heartfelt prayer of gratitude to my Father in Heaven, for I knew that He had answered my prayer.” -Thomas S. Monson, in General Conference, October 2011. [source]
COMMENTARY: They say God is no respecter of persons. So maybe God just has his priorities mixed up. After all, without his $5, little Tommy wouldn’t have been able to pay his tithing. It all makes sense when you realize that God values things differently than we do. But what do I know? I’m just another apostate.
