Quote the whole verse sweetheart. Paul says if Christ was not raised from the dead, then believers are to be most miserable. It comes down to whether or not Jesus rose from the dead. What do you believe happened to the body of Jesus?
Well, many decades after the fact, a few people claimed that the body of Jesus was resurrected. I find the evidence for such a claim lacking, and I believe that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Other than the fact that you read it in the Bible and heard other believers tell you the story, what makes you believe there is any reason to believe that the body of Jesus followed a different path after death than the billions of mortal bodies that came before or after him?
